The experience was amazing in every single aspect! Eric hit his spot, got his lines out quickly and we had fish on right at the start. We definitely learned a lot from Eric and had a great time! He was very hospitable, all the while keeping us catching fish. While we celebrated our catches, Eric was focused on getting lines back in the water and checking baits. He cleaned our fish, we stuffed our cooler and went home planning our next trip with Get Hooked Fishing Charters.

I booked a day on the water with Captain Eric for my son’s 18th birthday.  August is not the best time of year to go fishing, an I knew that going in.  It was beautiful Saturday on Lake St. Clair, which means there was a ton of boat traffic, which also doesn’t help the fishing.  But Captain Eric put us on the fish even with the less than favorable conditions.  Would highly recommend his services to anyone and we will be back as well!  A++

We had a great time. Eric really knows what he’s doing and makes sure everyone is having a good time. We had a bad turn of weather so we didn’t catch our limit but that wouldn’t stop me from going with Eric again. As hard as the fishing was, he still made sure we caught a few.

I read many of Eric’s 4.9/5 reviews before booking our trip and he definitely deserves his ratings. Eric was very knowledgeable, polite and personable! He was always making sure lines got in the water fast and worked hard to find the fish.  I had my 83 year old parents with me and he was very helpful with them. We caught perch, walleye and small mouth.  Thanks for a memorable time - hope to go out again!

Captain Eric was a great fishing guide.  He worked all through the trip assuring that all bait was in good shape.  He was very knowledgable about where to fish.  We caught some nice size walleyes, a small mouth bass and numerous perch.  Our 5 year old grandchild had a great time and enjoyed Captain Eric asking him to talk to the fish as he threw them back in to tell them to send their larger friends.
