Had a shark take one the hammer jack. Which made it more challenging.

me and my wife first time fishing oversea and was just planing to have some fun. Captain asked for cetrtain type of fish you want. We explored lots of different sopts and we got one big amber jack . and till end, he recommend us a restaurant to cook our fish which is also amazing and the best i ever had in Hawaii!

Boat ride to the spot was longer than expected about an hour and a half but well worth it. the fishing technique is fiscally demanding be Prepared to have sore arms deep dropping heavy jigs to about 300 to 500 feet for massive fish. Landed a total of 7 fish on the trip all quality fish hooked into about 8 more but got sharked on the way up get ur fish in the boat as fast as u can! Over all captain Aki gets a 10/10 epic trip we’ll work the price best bang for your buck on the island

The day started with an amazing sunrise and only got better from there! We caught 4 fish and it was so much fun! It was my first time fishing or even being on a boat in the ocean before!  I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The guide was very knowledgeable and put where he knew there could be and would be fish so I have nothing bad to say about this trip except wear sunscreen!!! Lots of it! Lol
