- Inshore fishing I prefer using light to medium tackle. Live bait is necessary on popping corks or fish finder rigs to target a selection of species that roam the flats and intercoastal waters. Offshore I prefer fish bottom using a few rigs that I have learned to increase successful catches throughout the years.
