He taught me the love of the outdoors and conservation for our fragile ecosystem. From that, my love for being on the water evolved into teaching and showing other people that don't have the privilege to experience our ecosystem that we have to offer.
Techniques: Our style of fishing is more lay back and enjoy the day, tell some stories, catch some fish and have some laughs. I love to entertain our clients, making sure they will be back to fish with us again

Spring time bite is on fire

Fishing is starting to heat up as spring is right around the corner. During the spring bait is plentiful matched with good weather days and the fishing can be great. The redfish and snook were very aggressive eating artificial lures all day long for these clients. The wind was keeping us cool and the fish were keeping us busy. These clients got to experience it all seeing lots of wildlife and catch a bunch of different species of fish most of which were large. We saw tarpon slowly starting to show up on their yearly migration south so tarpon season is right around the corner.

Fall patch reef fishing

Fall is here and the pach reef fishing is already heating up. Fishing was great with some jumbo mutton snappe, grouper and mangroves.

Hot bite

Anthony caucht his first Swordfish and it was a stud! First drift and he was on, we battle this beast for an hour and a half and finally came up and jumped. We quickly realized it was bigger than expected. We headed off to look for some dolphin and got into more action with some really nice schools of mahi. Ended the day with tons of good eats.

Great Half Day Fishing Grand Slam

The day started off with a beautiful sunrise which was shortly followed by redfish tailing the flats. The fish were eating great and the sunrise helped us to get some great pictures. With a changing tide and 2 out of 3 species needed for a slam we decided to make a move to a spot where tarpon frequent and was immediately hooked up with our first tarpon. We ended up catching a couple more tarpon and some more redfish until it was time to head back to the dock which we pulled up to at 1:30pm. We saw numerous species of birds as well as stingrays, sharks, and dolphins.

Fishing has been great on the flats. Capt.Derek has been on the fish with some beautiful Snook and Redfish being caught and released. Summer is heating up and the permit and bonefish will as well.

Had some family coming to town and this was an amazing time,haven’t had that much fun in a long time ,Started slow and moral was low ,but then we got a bit ,lost it and another then blast off!! Non stop action!! Captain Eric was awesome , we searched and destroyed he took care of everything down to cleaning the fish couldn’t have asked for a better trip! If you book this trip you will not be disappointed

Me and my to sons (13 and 15yrs old) took a charter on November. The winds / waves were too big to go into the off shore areas. He recommended a back country trip. We never did this before. We had a ball. Caught reds, snook and a tarpon. Eric was a great guide. He gave lots of instruction for catching fish and knowledge of the habitat. We had a very tight window to fish and Capt Eric put us in the fish quickly with 2 gaffers in the boat by noon. Can’t say enough good think about his communication pre and post trip. Very professional and friendly. We will be back for sure.
