We went out on Bottoms Up with Captain Justin this week and we will definitely be back for another outing with him. Bottoms Up is a beautiful, safe, spacious boat and Captain Justin is a delightful, knowledgeable, fun, friendly and expert captain and fisherman. We caught more than a dozen fish, which Captain Justin expertly prepped and cleaned when we were done; he also sent us to a nearby restaurant where they fried, grilled and blackened our fish to perfection for a delicious lunch. Captain Justin made sure our 7 year old son learned how to reel and made him feel a true send of accomplishment at catching fish. Captain Justin also taught all three of us about the various fish, plantlife and other species in the area. Last but certainly not least, Captain Justin’s family has lived in the Vero Beach area for generations and his experience and pride truly translates to the experience he provides on his boat. We loved talking with him, learning from him and of course catching fish with him. He truly makes it seem like you are out fishing with a very knowledgeable, kind friend. We have had several fishing outings around the country and internationally and this was our best one yet.

We came down for Vacation from Missouri and have been excited about this trip. Captain Justin and Shack were Awesome above and beyond. We caught lots of Snapper, a Barracuda, Cobia and other miscellaneous fish. They worked hard, gave clear direct orders on what we needed to do for non experienced Salt Water fishing. We truly appreciate the experience. We already have a trip planned for tomorrow. I would highly recommend them to anyone. It was a great day on the water with you guys!  Thanks so much!

We had a great time with Capt Justin and Tawny on our full day deep drop trip. We were targeting golden tilefish and yellow edge grouper. The yellow edge grouper weren’t biting on this trip, but the golden tilefish were. My wife caught two on the line for the first catch of the day. Capt Justin made sure we stayed on the fish moving to different spots when it got slow. Tawny set out flat lines while moving between spots, which resulted in us catching a few mahi mahi. They made sure we were taking advantage of every opportunity to catch fish. Our oldest son bought his first boat last year and Capt Justin was kind enough to share boating and fishing knowledge with him throughout the trip.

The boat was comfortable and well equipped, with all gear in great condition. They filleted all fish we brought back at the end of the trip. We ended up with enough mahi mahi and golden tilefish to feed a family of five for at least four to five meals. Their knowledge and assistance made for a fantastic day of fishing. We will definitely be booking again!
