- Captain Mike started fishing the Lake Erie Islands with his Dad at the age of five and has fished all his life. He says this is pretty much all he has done and all he has wanted to do. Mike decided early on to get his captain's license, and has spent the last 30 years fishing and guiding professionally. He is a relaxed person who likes to make charters fun. Mike's guests all say that his charters are very laid back and no pressure, which is what makes Mike a great choice. He loves taking people fishing for Walleye.
- Techniques
- We specialize in trolling for walleyes using big boards and all the latest fishing equipment. Full day trips are 7 hours or half day 4 hours dock to dock or until the customers legal limit of walleye. My trips are hands on, you can help rig the big boards, setting the depth of the lines to netting the fish, it's up to you how much you want to get involved. Customers responsible for fish cleaning, there is a fish cleaning station in the marina for your use or Bays Edge Fish Cleaners is 10 minutes from the marina.
