Four friends and I recently went on a “3/4 Day Trip” fishing charter aboard Hayden Express Charters and we had an incredible outing. Captain Ralph did a wonderful job driving the boat (and finding some great fishing spots/holes) and First Mate Mason was always there helping us out. We had a great experience fishing with Ralph and Mason! They were both super friendly and knowledgeable! We took our 3 kids (2,11, and 15) and they all had a great time! It was very kid friendly! They had a bean bag chair in the cabin that laid right by the ac unit and the kids took turns cooling off there! It was perfect! We caught 28 fish and then had them cooked at the marina restaurant which was great!  We’d definitely book with them again and highly recommend!

Took a trip on the Hayden Express with Captain Ralph and deckhand Mason. Ralph knows his stuff—got us on the fish quickly and we hit our limit before the trip was over. Mason kept the lines in the water and the vibe light with some good banter. Back at the marina, we had our catch cleaned and fried up right there. It was fresh, crispy, and damn good—fed us for the whole week. If you want a fishing trip with a crew that delivers, Hayden Express is a safe bet. I’d go again.

Captain Ralph put us on the fish all day and his mate worked his but off all day to keep lines in the water. Altogether we caught over 200lbs of fish. Everyone in the group had a great time and we would highly reccomend Hayden Express charters for anyone looking to fish on the outer banks.

Due to the high winds we werent able to go into the ocean but thankfully Captain Ralph let us fish the sound which tirned into a fun day catching fish.First mate Mason was a joy to be around and helped us with everything and we’ll never forgot the incredibe dolphin show behind the boat!
