My son and I spent a full day with Captain Dan fishing for yellow tails and grouper. We were successful at both. Captain Dan was extremely knowledgeable and experienced with years of commercial fishing as well as fishing for pleasure. He was extremely patient, especially with me, as I had very little fishing experience and none in many years. Once we returned, he quickly cleaned our catch and we had filets to bring home. We didn’t know anything about booking a fishing charter but the choice of Shark River Charters and Capt Dan turned out to be a good one.  Our family of 4 were novices but Capt Dan took care of everything including explaining the best method to catch fish (which all 4 of us did).  He was also very friendly from start to finish.  I would highly recommend this charter.
