Recently went fishing on the topaz with my son, his friend, another father and his young daughter. The captain didn’t disappoint. We were on fish as soon as we got out to our spot. It was one of the better experiences I’ve had fishing out of the Outer Banks in quite a while would definitely go fishing with them again the first mate was also awesome.

The ocean was rough on our trip. But we fished the inlet and the sound. Capt. Ches recommended that we fished the sounds. Safety was priority.  We still caught fish. Capt Ches went above and beyond our expectations of fishing for several types (at least 5) of fish, since we couldn’t go out to sea..the waves made my wife sick. 4 foot swells was really rough. Considering the conditions,  we still caught fish! We will definitely call on him again to take us out. More

We had a great time out on the water with salt grit.  The captain and first mate were great guys and very knowledgeable where the fish were!  Highly recommend!

We had fun and caught plenty snapper blues and Spanish mackerel!
