- Background
- As a lifelong outdoorsman, I am drawn to the water through my love not just of the outdoors, but for the conservation of our natural resources, and my philosophy that guides are teachers and stewards. Simply put, I am a guide because I want to share my love of the ocean and estuaries with others.
- Techniques
- I am a jack of all trades within North Carolina's extremely diverse inshore and offshore fisheries. Primarily I am a light tackle and fly fishermen focusing on using artificial lures and bait in the estuaries for redfish, trout and flounder and fishing nearshore for mackerels, bluefish, flounder, amberjack, bonito, sharks, etc. I prefer to focus on light tackle and "active" fishing and cater to the experience level and requests of the customer.
