My wife and I scheduled a half day trip with our two grandchildren (10 & 15)and we couldn’t be more pleased. Nick was great at communicating with us throughout the experience. His boat was immaculate and the equipment was top notch. Nick was very friendly and shared his vast personal knowledge with us throughout the day. He put us on fish from the time our lines hit the water! June weather in Florida can be fickle and Nick’s knowledge and concern for the safety of my family are to be commended. I personally like to thank Nick for a great day and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a charter in the Clearwater area!

Captain Nick is awesome! He took me, my wife, 9 year old and 6 year old daughters out for an amazing trip. My kids and wife don’t have a lot of experience on the water and Captain Nick put us on the fish instantly. I have some explaining to do as to why I come home empty handed more often than not! He made sure to keep the kids baited up and lines in the water for the most amount of time possible. We booked a four hour charter and caught 7-10 species of fish (I lost count) and conservatively 60 fish in total. My only regret about this trip is I didn’t book something longer so that after the cooler was full we could go hang out on an island for a couple hours. Parents with kids, I highly recommend booking with Captain Nick. A truly unforgettable trip. Thank you Captain!

This was the best part of our vacation! Captain Nick was at the dock waiting for us when we got there and walked us through every step. This was our first time visiting Florida and fishing here. Nick made sure all of us - my husband, myself and our two boys (17 & 9) - were set up to fish immediately and kept bait on our hooks the entire time. He put us on fish right away and kept us on the water until we caught what he was hoping we’d catch. Then he cleaned and bagged everything up for us to take back and cook. You won’t have to touch a thing besides the fishing rod if you don’t want to. Nick was very knowledgeable and kept things fun and exciting! Our original trip was cancelled earlier in the week and we are so thankful to find Nick and that he was was able to get us on the water. Our kids are already wanting to come back and book with him again - definitely for a longer trip next time!

What a fantastic trip!  Capt. Nick was the best. He reached out ahead of time to make sure we were all set. He was on time and it went exactly how he explained. His boat and gear were clean and in order. We never did this before so what was great is Nick explained details of the ocean, the species of fish, and general ocean fishing know how. He made it fun and very comfortable. What a fantastic time for my family.  There are hundreds of charters to select from. Capt Nick did this for another outfit and just started captaining his own boat. I say this to not let the smaller number of reviews deter you.  You won’t go wrong with the knowledge and passion of Nick’s Salty Adventures!

We had a fantastic trip w/ Nick.  His boat was great - clean, comfortable, and plenty of room.  Nick was a great host - very personable, entertaining, and friendly.  He knew exactly where to go to find the fish.  We went to three locations, all nearby, and caught a ton of fish at each location.  Approximately 75 total…we kept 29.  Nick cleaned the fish and packed them for us, upon our return to the marina. They were delicious.  If you want, Nick will bait your hook and remove fish when you catch them.  He had a full-time job just keeping bait on our lines and removing our fish!
We definitely will use Nick again…and will likely do one of his island/fish tours…or do a custom trip with him.
