Over the last few week the bug fish have move back out if the creek and are closer to the main lake chanel. They starting to key in on big gizzard shad and blue blue gils. My last two trips out out put 15-20 solid fish in the boat, including several nice stripers. Bucktail jigs trolled have been very effective as well. Should only continue to get better as we get into summer! Lets go fishing!

The bite has been absolutely on fire! Weโ€™re consistently putting 15โ€“20+ fish in the boat every trip, with a great mix of big Hybrids and Striped Bass. Over the weekend, we landed multiple Hybrids over 10 pounds and several Striped Bass pushing 15+ pounds. Water temps have been holding around 69ยฐ, but with warmer days ahead, we expect the lake to heat up quicklyโ€”and the fishing action should stay just as hot. Percy Priest Lake Fishing Report โ€“ Week

The bite started off a bit tough this week due to muddy water from the weekend storms. Visibility was limited, especially up-lake, but conditions have improved steadily throughout the week. Water temps are now climbing into the 54โ€“56ยฐF range, and thatโ€™s triggered some good movement as fish begin their prespawn migration down the lake. Weโ€™ve started to see more consistent action, and the bite is definitely picking up. Live bait is beginning to produce, especially for quality bites, and A-rigs are putting solid numbers in the boat. The hybrids have been active, and weโ€™ve landed several over 8 pounds this weekโ€”strong, healthy fish that are feeding up and ready to fight. Things are heating up on Percy Priest, and itโ€™s only getting better from here!
