Capt was great, fishing was good. Lots of fish, just didn’t catch a whopper. Would definitely go again

This was my 3rd booking through Fishing Booker. We had my two adult sons and three young grandchildren signed up for a 2-hour trip with Captain David of D&R Charters. And what a great outing it was. Action packed and a USN submarine sail-by to boot! David took is immediately out to the end of the jetties of the sea channel outside Cumberland Sound. We were quickly on Black Drum. The “boys” (ages 70, 43, 39 and 10) all reeled in drum of 25-40 lbs, one of which fed the family that night. Thee “ladies” (ages 12 and 7) caught whiting, croakers and blennies The whiting were delicious. David worked tirelessly to keep lines baited and guests well coached. He had a lovely gentle manner with the grandchildren. When it became obvious that a USN submarine was about to depart Kings Bay, David lingered long enough outside the channle to get a grandstand view of its sail-by. A fabulous excursion for all of us and a memory of a lifetime for the little ones. David’s boat was very spacious for our group of six people and the equipment was well provided and maintained. Captain David was great to fish with! He kept his head on a swivel and could see the slightest rod twitch out of the side of his eye. He knows the fish and could often guess the fish before it’d come to the surface. He was also cognizant of the weather, more so the wind and water. When our original day to go out wasn’t looking great, he reached out to let us know and we were able to coordinate an alternate day. We appreciated that big time.

Fish caught: Black Sea Bass, Spanish Mackrel, Stingray, Catfish, Red Snapper, Bull Shark, Cobia, Triggerfish, Toadfish

This was an opportunity for my Brothers, Sons and myself to bond during the Thanksgiving Holiday by way of an adrenaline pumping fishing trip. Captain David did not disappoint. He was very welcoming and patient with our group of six. His knowledge and expertise proved beneficial with a bountiful payoff of multiple specie catches: Bull Red, Bluefish (Florida Piranha), Whiting, Atlantic Sharp Nose Sharks, Sting Rays (by accident) and Sand Trout. His humor and hospitality also added to the overall experience making this outing a memory that we won’t soon forget. I definitely recommend his Charter and we’ll definitely be back again.

We didn’t know what to expect. 4 guys from Ohio never been on the ocean fishing. But, came away after 5 hour trip with about I want to say 50 different type of fish and it was the best time ever on a charter
What can be said about Captain Dave not enough we can say in this review Amazing if all you want to do is just catch fish he knows where the fish are and he took care of everything. And he turn us on to a very nice restaurant that if you take your fresh catch they cooked the fish and we it was the best fish we ever ate. Total day was the best in a long time thanks to Captain David. Definitely 5 Star Highy Recommend and very good music!
