Obviously you were not very aware of what was going on. This was a very rough weather day and It took both of us on deck to control the situation. When there is so much going on with multiple fish being caught there is a lot of distractions and I and my crew need to shout to be heard over the din of everyone wanting to talk. Especially with such big fish and everyone catching the limit.
  You obviously have not fished on a boat with a stern steering station. This is where I run the boat from when I’m on deck helping. There was NEVER ONE MOMENT that the boat was drifting. The boat is always moving forward which is called trolling. If The boat stops it would cause a massive tangle.
You sir were tangled all day by not listening to the instructions of the crew. If you had listened you would have caught a fish on your own rod (which you did not), and not be tangled all day long.
We do not hide any of the prices of anything. You were told upon coming to get more gear after you lost it in tangles. Our rent rods have all the terminal tackle required so there is no additional fees for equipment unless it is lost or broken off.
Most other customers do not have the problems that you did because they listened and followed instructions.
You did not.

Ahoy there, Geez I guess I’m sorry you caught fish???
All our times are approximate. There are days that we come back late especially when the fishing is slow or the passengers wont cooperate. I have been in this business for 50 years so we must be doing something right.
At the time that you called I was very busy getting the boat ready for departure and as is my normal routine I will call back once these things have been handled. I did not call back because you were on the boat by time i would have called. As far as being late, I did not realize that I was working on your scheduled times. I was dealing with an issue with the harbor master. But We still departed before the anointed time of 7 am.
I apologize if my crew was not courteous and greeted you when boarding. He too might have been occupied but could have at least said hello.
The mistake of trying to collect was mine for not looking at the manifest closer. I was trying to be as efficient as possible handling the collection.
  Sorry I’m human and make mistakes.

Please in the future, find another boat as we want all of our passengers to be happy, which you clearly were not.
