Background: I was brought up on boats my whole life here in Clearwater. From when I saw my first commercial fishing boat I knew exactly what I wanted to do... fish for a living. My fishing career started immediately after high school when I got a job as a deckhand on one of the head boats out of Clearwater Municipal Marina. I had my sights set on being captain as soon as I started, and it didn't take long. As soon as I had enough time for my 100 ton masters captains license, I took the courses and got it. I started running the head boat at 21 years old and loved it. After gaining the fishing knowledge and the overall experience of running a 90 passenger head boat for a few years, I decided it was time to start my own charter boat operation. I like the more personalized fishing experience of a six passenger vessel and I like having the speed to be able to get to the more fertile fishing grounds in an efficient manner. I have a true passion for what I do and I love catching fish!

We have been getting in to some nice hogfish on our 4hr and 6hr trips. The hogfish are one of the best eating fish in the Gulf of Mexico and are a lot of fun to catch.

Went out with a party of 5 and had a blast! Captain Sam and crew were awesome, took us right to the fish and were so quick to get us set up after a catch. We caught a ton of fish, probably a dozen different kinds. My 14 year old son who loves fishing told me that it was the most fun he’s ever had fishing. Captain Sam also shared his recipe to cook up our catch, so after they filleted them for us, within a couple hour we were having the best fish dinner ever. I 100% recommend Bottom Line... More

Had a great time with Bottom Line Sport Fishing. Sam and Mike had us on fish all day. We caught two permit fish, some red snapper and a lot of grupper and grunts. They are great guys and really went out of their way to help my 6 year old grandson catch fish. I will definitely book with them again.

Me my brothers, father and uncle went of a 6 hour trip with Bottoms Line. They did an amazing job from having the boat ready when we arrived and getting us to the fish we wanted to go after. Highly recommend this crew to go deep sea fishing. Next time we’re in town we plan on doing the 8 hour trip with them!
