Techniques: Light tackle back bay and coastal jigging and live bait fishing for all inshore species in season including trophy fluke, striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, porgies, and false albacore.

Yes, our fall striped bass season is ramping up into primetime form…but it’s still nice to see some residual summer weakfish still in the mix.

Good striped bass fishing this afternoon on topwater poppers. Fish were tight to the marsh. Tons of bait around ready to get dislodged following the next cold front.

Sunset has been the magic hours on the water. Bluefish on the surface. Fluke feeding on the scrapes below the blitz. 4 inch zman diezel minnow on a 1/2 oz jighead was perfect for nonstop action.
