Sunset has been the magic hours on the water. Bluefish on the surface. Fluke feeding on the scrapes below the blitz. 4 inch zman diezel minnow on a 1/2 oz jighead was perfect for nonstop action.

Bluefish from 2 to 12 pounds have invaded Jamaica Bay. Striped bass are mixed in as well as the omnipresent sand sharks.

Picking up right where we left off at the end of last season. Striped bass have returned. We’ll catch them good through mid June before switching gears to summer flounder (fluke) and bluefish. All good ??

I have been on large and small charters from Maine to Mexico. Our trip with Captain Austin ranks right at the top. Not only was it a great day of fishing (catching too), Captain Austin gave our party the best catch of all - memories. My grandson went home smiling ear to ear. It doesn’t get any better than that. Capt Austin is very experienced fisherman and an outstanding Captain. He is accommodating beyond expectations. He worked very well with my 15 year old grandson. My husband and boys loved this experience! I can’t say enough about how accommodating, knowledgeable and kind the captain is. He was great with my boys (it was their first time fishing) and we all learned so much from this trip. This was a core memory I know my kids will remember when they are grown. Can’t wait to book it again!

It was such an awesome trip everybody had a blast! Our boys caught many flounders under the guidance of Austin. He’s such a patient teacher for the boys and he kept if super fun for everybody.
