We met Captain Filla in the morning.  He introduced himself and began to explain that we were in a high pressure weather system and just had a full moon.  Upfront he explained that the conditions would make fishing tough.

We went to Captain Filla’s first spot.  The first cast caught a Red Fish.  The fish was too small to keep, but it was an impressive start.  We caught several Red and Drum fish within and hour or so.  We ended up with three good keepers!

After that it slowed down.  Captain Filla took us to several local and hidden spots to find fish.  He was constantly communicating with other anglers and guides trying locate fish for my son and I.  He also kept a good watch on the tied and water conditions making sure we didn’t get stuck or run into a sand bar.  At the end we circled back to our original spot and caught a few more fish and called it a day.

My son and I had a great day!!  Captain Filla was easy to work with and super helpful with the fishing process.  He was happy to explain what we we doing and where we were going.  He would help us 100% of the way, or let us fish more on our own if we wanted.  It made for a very enjoyable day.  My son and I would highly recommend Captain Filla for an awesome inshore fishing experience!!

It was a windy day with storms rolling through in the afternoon, (after ease dropping on his conversation with other captains)no one was catching but 1 fish a boat. It didn’t seem like the bite was going to be on that morning, it was a little slow at first don’t get me wrong but we were stacked in the matter of 2.5 hours 3 guy limit. The man knows where the fish are. If your questioning who to choose between make no mistake here.

Capt Randy was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful.  He made sure we were well taken care of.  There were 4 of us all current or prior military and we were impressed with his attention to detail and his ability to put us on the fish.  We plan on using him again.  We had a blast and we would highly recommend Capt Randy and Fillabite Guide Service.

Randy is a very friendly, fun, knowledgeable guide. It stormed the night before and the water was torn up. Randy put us on fish when other guides were only able to pull in two fish all day. We caught several fish and ended with six 5 keeper specks. We caught several dinks and a couple redfish.

I will be using Randy again in the future. Great guy.

We had 3 people on our morning trip plus captain, all in all we had a great time on the water catching fish. Yes we caught alot of under size fish plus 5 keepers on this trip. Captain was super friendly, helpful, and patient while putting us on fish. He made multiple calls to different anglers to get update on how things were going at different locations. Seemed like everyone was having to work a lot more than usual to find keeper fish. Will definitely book again with captain Randy!
