I booked a half day trip with Captain Josh with my Wife & Mother. From my first contact with him I could tell it was going to be a good experiance, Josh was really accommodating with everything that we needed, and was happy to answer my questions. He even went out of his way to get us some fresh live bait prior to our trip.

Although the weather has been cooler the last week we stayed on the fish all day. I lost track of how many fish we caught.

We ended the afternoon at the little bar down the road where they cooked us up some of the fish we caught which was a perfect way to end the day.

I would highly recommend him for any experiance level and cant wait to get back out with him again.

Captain JP was very friendly and informative, he set reasonable expectations from the get-go regarding what we could expect of the conditions, what fish we might catch, etc.  He was very helpful and quick with getting our baits rigged and especially very attentive and on the spot with helping my young son to catch fish and enjoy the trip.  We caught a lot of fish, including a very good size snook and jack crevalle.
Overall great trip and would recommend captain JP!!

We had a fantastic time with Josh! He gave us the location and time the night before. We are very inexperienced and just wanted to have a fun excursion with my 11 year old son. Josh tailored the trip to our skill level and had tons of cool knowledge of the area. Would highly recommend!!

The fishing trip was epic and I would 100% recommend Captain Josh.

A friend from college was down for the weekend and I wanted to treat him to some proper fishing. He was a total novice, not having fished since he was 12 in some creek. Josh made sure we knew where to meet and how to contact him before the trip and also was flexible with the timing but the best part was the fish. I’ve taken about 5-10 guided trips over the last 2 years and this was hands down the most productive trip.

First off, he showed up with a live well full of bait so we didn’t waste time having to catch our own. There are two kinds of Captain’s - ones that show up with bait and ones that don’t and will spend your time on the clock getting bait. Its not a huge deal but makes a difference when you are on a 4 hour charter. We started catching snook within about 10 minutes but they weren’t very large. He got us moving and took us to two more spots where we caught fish but not many. My friend had no idea what he was doing and Josh was patient and helpful without being too overbearing. We moved on to the last spot and I didn’t want to leave.

We caught snook, redfish, jack and even a spanish mackerel on live bait. We could barely keep our hook baited, every few minutes another fish. There were 2-3 times when we were both hooked up and eventually we stopped counting how many fish we caught. I had been hoping to finally catch a big snook and lucked out by catching my new personal best. There was also a slot redfish - we were down in 10,000 Islands so I was able to keep it. This was my first keeper redfish and with some blackened redfish magic they really are as delicious as people say.

We had a great time and would recommend Captain Josh to anyone!
