This was my first charter experience ever. As an avid fisherman all my life I have never hired someone to take me fishing until now…. I expressed what I wanted to do during this trip to Dan and he wet above and beyond to ensure that I had the best experience and was happy. Dan is someone who makes you feel very comfortable and is extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about fishing which makes for an awesome experience! He went above and beyond to be sure that I got exactly what I was looking for out of the trip. I will absolutely be returning to go on another adventure and would highly recommend him to anyone I know. Thanks again Dan, it was beyond memorable!

Captain Dan is THE most experienced, knowledgeable, patient, kind, professional, & funny captain we’ve EVER experienced! He made sure each of us catch at least one shark & my eldest caught 2! We saw shark, lobster, yellowtail, bonnet heads, starfish, jellyfish, & blue something (can’t remember the name). He even has a solution to help my daughter overcome her seasickness! You’ll NEVER meet a better guide in key west!

Captain Dan made our Key West fishing trip absolutely epic! He’s a skilled captain who knew exactly where to find the fish, putting us on some impressive catches. His passion and expertise shone through, making the day both exciting and memorable. The boat was top-notch, and Dan’s friendly, hands-on approach ensured everyone had a blast. Highly recommend Captain Dan for an unforgettable fishing adventure in Key West!

Captain Dan was amazing from start to finish.  He knew where the fish were and helped teach us what to do to get them to the boat.  He was patient with us and attentive.  He is great with kids.  It was a father and son trip, first time fishing in Florida and first time for any of the fish we went after and caught.  I would definitely recommend captain Da. To anyone looking for a fun and exciting fishing/catching adventure!

After a full day of jet skis and exploring, my family booked a private sunset shark fishing charter with Captain Dan.  While it is unfortunate we were unable to catch any fish during this trip, it was still a great way to wind down after going pretty hard the previous few days.  Captain Dan definitely did all he could by chumming up the waters in a couple different spots, but at the end of the day the fish just weren’t biting. 

That said, we caught a beautiful sunset on Captain Dan’s super clean boat and at the end of it all Dan tried to offer to take us out the next day free of charge.  When we couldn’t do that due to our schedule he said he would not charge us the balance due for the trip. I insisted to pay for his time, effort, and fuel so we met in the middle. I will definitely give Captain Dan a ring next time I’m in town and would recommend his service to anyone else as well!  Thanks again Captain Dan!
