Captain Rubin and Freddy are a great team. We had scheduled a 5 hour trim with transfer. SUV driver picked us up at hotel and dropped at pier where a rep from Cabo Sport fishing met us and escorted us to the boat. Captain told us what trip would involve. Short trip to fishing grounds. After 90 minutes trolling we hooked a 80# sailfish. Freddy was very good with showing my wife how to land the fish. Soon after I landed a 120# monster and my wife landed another 80+# fish and again Freddy was great assistant helping her land the fish.

We booked three days with Blue Tail II fishing service. our first day with Captain Victor and Alex was GREAT! We came for Marlin and ended up with a blue marlin, two sailfish, and a wahoo! Victor and Alex were fantastic! The second and third days we had Captain Juan and Alex (because we specifically requested him after the first day). We ended up catching a total of one marlin, two wahoo, and three sailfish! Blue Tail II is a top notch company who we will reschedule with again! Very professional, personable, knowledgeable and accommodating!  I highly recommend them if you want to catch big fish and a variety of species!

Opted for the full day, 8-hour + transportation for myself & girlfriend.  The boat was spotless, better than I could of done & I’m very particular.  The mate, Joel, was super friendly, informative & an EXCELLENT angler.  Captain Victor was on his game also with rods & boat handling.  Upon arrival, Joel asked our preference of fishing.  We requested bill fishing.  He informed us that the bill fishing hadn’t been very productive lately but we would do our best.  Well they did pretty damn good.  We ended up with 3 stripe marlin & 1 sailfish.  Didn’t get a hook up, but did see a sailfish on the surface and Joel made a good cast off bow in choppy conditions.  This is the second time I fished on this boat, 2022 & 2025.  When I return to the area I will definitely book another trip.

Such an amazing trip landed a few days ago and allot of people talking about slow fishing conditions that was not a problem for our crew. First fish nice yellow fin 15 min in but what was a pleasant shock the next strike not even 20 min later was a 250 + lbs Blue Marlin jumping just like he knew it was show time that iconic blue marlin jump then the hour and a half fight back and forth captain following every movement perfectly to get us a nice picture along side the boat and a beautiful safe release. All equipment was in top working condition lunch and drinks well stocked and captain and first mate beyond amazing will be back.

We went out with my wife and two teenage boys for a day of fishing and had a great experience overall. We managed to hook a nice yellowfin tuna, and even had a second one on the line that gave us a real fight—but unfortunately, we couldn’t get it to the boat. Outside of that, the fishing was a bit slow, but the crew worked hard the entire time, doing everything they could to get us on more fish. The boat itself was spotless and exactly as pictured—comfortable, spacious, and very well-kept. Even though the bite wasn’t hot, we had a great time on the water and would definitely book with them again!
