My son and I are hardcore fisherman and have foshed all over. Captain Rapheal and deckhand Gilbert know how to fish.  The water offshore was 10 foot swells with chop and they asked us if we were good in that.  We are and were but it was very courteous to ask as that is sea sick water for many. They also asked what we wanted to target, which my son and I both wanted to just go after Marlin.  That’s what we did!  They
worked hard and we caught a trophy Striped Marlin about 200lber.  We chose to release it and everyone was very happy with that decison.  Also caught a 50lb Wahoo which we gave to Raphael and Gilbert.
Great crew, great hard working smart fishermen and high end equipment.

We had a great time for our first time fishing in Cabo! We had a big Mahi Mahi bite first thing in the morning and come off on the first jump. (Nothing anyone can do about that. Just the way it goes)
We landed a giant 56” Wahoo.
We aslo had a chance at 2 different marlin but ended up jumping off both of them on the first couple of jumps. Not sure if the hook just came unbuttoned or if it was just due to our inexperience of this type of fishing.

All in all the captain and crew were absolutely top notch! Very professional and Knowledgeable! This will be the boat that we fish on every time we have 4 people or less in our group!

We had a fantastic fishing trip aboard the Blue Tail today with Captain Gilbert and first mate Luis. They put us on the fish fast — we landed a huge Dorado within the first 40 minutes, which was an incredible start to the day. After that, we moved on to catching multiple tuna.

Even though all of our fish came in the first half of the day, Gilbert and Luis never stopped working. They switched baits frequently and tried several techniques in an effort to hook a Marlin. It just wasn’t our day for Marlin, but their dedication and persistence were obvious.

The all-inclusive package was excellent. Plenty of drinks (including beer), delicious burritos, and snacks throughout the trip. Everything was well organized and very comfortable.

Great crew, great experience — highly recommend!

We went on a 5 hour afternoon trip. The boat & equipment was immaculatey clean! The captain & deck hand were personable & fun.

My husband hooked into a nice marlin but lost it. Then with about an hour left, I caught a very nice Mahi-Mahi! Our deck hand was able to clean it on our way back & assisted holding the bag. We had 6 large pieces of fish, double bagged it & put it in the cooler. We tipped well as we were happy with everything.

However….Once we got back to our condo to freeze for teavel, we realized that they swiped 1/2 of our fish as we had 3 peices, not 6. Honestly, we would not have minded if they asked to keep some, but that was not the case so it took us by surprise. So if you do use this charter & plan on keeping anything, please double check your bag before exiting the boat…..🤷🏻‍♀️

We had an incredible experience with Cabo Sportfishing! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our crew, Juan and Alex, were fantastic — knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely fun to spend the day with.
We caught 2 mahi and 1 marlin, which made the trip exciting, but what really made it special was the overall experience. They worked hard to put us on the fish and made sure we were comfortable and having a great time the entire day. To top it off, our trip ended with a sea lion hitching a free ride on the back of the boat — such a fun and unforgettable moment!
