Cabo Sportfishing Crew – Blue Tail
Cabo Sportfishing Crew runs half and full day trips out of the famous sportfishing town of Cabo San Lucas, going after the huge fish which have made this town a household name among anglers worldwide. Captain Ismael heads an experienced crew that has the skills, the resolve, and the equipment to get you on that fish of a lifetime, without breaking the bank in the process.
You will be fishing aboard the “Blue Tail,” a 29’ Californian sportfishing boat. A brand new 2019 model, she features everything you will need for some world-class sportfishing, as well as plenty of luxuries to make your trip even more enjoyable. The boat has a convertible top to keep off the hot Mexican sun, and a stylish interior complete with an enclosed head for extra comfort on longer trips. The trips are all inclusive.
The Blue Tail is equipped with the latest electronics to sweep the deep in search of big fish. Then her outriggers and downriggers will let you target every species out there and her fighting chair will let you hold your own, no matter how hard they fight. She has a livewell full of quality bait and tuna tubes to let you work your way up to some real monsters.
What you target on your trip is entirely up to you. Even on a half day, you will have plenty of time to head out in search of pelagic species if you want to. Or, if you want to spend the whole day fishing the bays for big Roosterfish, Snapper, and Grouper, that is completely fine, too.
There is tackle aboard to target all these species and more, with a choice of light and heavy tackle, and the option to troll, bottom fish, jig, or pop the day away. The Cabo Sportfishing Crew will walk you through all these techniques and work hard to make sure you get as much out of your time with them as possible.

Half Day Trip – All Inclusive (PM)
Fun Family Fishing Trip with Excellent Service
We went out with my wife and two teenage boys for a day of fishing and had a great experience overall. We managed to hook a nice yellowfin tuna, and even had a second one on the line that gave us a real fight—but unfortunately, we couldn’t get it to the boat. Outside of that, the fishing was a bit slow, but the crew worked hard the entire time, doing everything they could to get us on more fish. The boat itself was spotless and exactly as pictured—comfortable, spacious, and very well-kept. Even though the bite wasn’t hot, we had a great time on the water and would definitely book with them again!

Full Day Trip – All Inclusive
Great day and last second marlin
Fishing started off the bang with first fish before we even got to the arch and only got better. Yellow fin bite was great with a few bonito mixed in to keep the reels moving capped off with a trophy sized striped marlin right before lines in with a safe release cooler was fully stocked with all the goodies and the lunch was perfect boat has a nice Bimini for when it got super hot captain and first mate where both 5 star and very informative while catching fish will be booking again.

Full Day Trip – All Inclusive
Marlin Fishing
I booked the 8hr fishing trip. I was quickly greeted by the Captain Gilbert and first mate Joel. These two are best of the best when it comes to fishing. They asked what we wanted to fish for. The trip was booked for my nephew as a high school graduation/birthday present. He wanted to catch a marlin. We ended up catching 2 marlin. We lost one after a short fight. We lost a wahoo midway through the fight and we had a big shark playing with one of the lines. This trip was action packed. There were 5 fishing charters that left the same morning as us and of the 5, we were the only ones to catch marlin. One other boat caught yellow fin but that was it. Joel was extremely nice, constantly offering snacks, food, drinks, and making sure we were ok. The captain managed the water like a true professional. I wish I could fish with this duo every time. They made our trip one to remember and to be honest we haven’t stopped talking about how good they were and how great of a time we had. I would book with them 10 times out of 10 without hesitation.

I first want to apologize that I am terrible with names. My captain and mate deserve better because they were fabulous. They were constantly working hard to put me on the fish I wanted. Because of there diligence we found one of the few marlin that were caught that day. Cabo sports fishing adventures could not have done more for me. The communication was great and everything went well. They even had my back with photos when my camera failed to record. We are coming back to Cabo in the summer and will definitely be fishing with Cabo sport fishing adventures and the blue tail crew. Thank so much for a great day.

Full Day Trip – All Inclusive
Good Time
We came to Cabo to fish for striped marlin and roosterfish. We booked 3 different 8 hour trips with 3 different boats. This boat was our 3rd trip. We had already caught roosterfish on another trip and they were a lot of fun. We had been skunked on marlin. So, this trip we went for roosterfish first. We didn't catch any. Spanish Mackerel were in the area, so we went after those. We caught 4 of them and then went for the marlin. No luck on the marlin. We saw a few, but they wouldn't bite. The boat was very nice and they had really good fishing equipment. The captain and mate were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go fishing with these guys again.
