Brilliant afternoon spent on the lake, for a 16th birthday present.  So nice to have a relaxed fishing experience with an absolute expert and friendly captain.  We each caught a fish and one to spare, so overall a fishing success.  Would highly recommend.

We are lake fishing novices and a bit apprehensive about how we’d fare. We had no need to worry! From our initial meeting with Richard before we set off he immediately put us at ease and his knowledge and boatmanship is top notch. Have to say the experience was worth every dollar. No hesitation in recommending Richard to anyone wanting a charter in Taupo. Very professional and will tell any of my friends to book him if coming to Taupo for a fishing trip.

Captain Richard made us feel very welcome onboard, including our two children. It wasn’t the best weather, but this didn’t hold us back because most of the boat was covered, and there was also a heater on board which we were surprised about! We caught three trout to take home which we are looking forward to eating tonight for dinner. Highly recommend Captain Richard and his services!
