We were lucky with the weather and only sheltered once by an island but the storm passed us by.  Captain Mike took us to a few spots and told us his scalloping tricks.  We have a fun trip and Captain Mike was very knowledgeable about the area for both scalloping and a great place to have lunch at afterwards.  I liked the fact that we went out of Ozello and in no time at all we were in the water looking for the elusive scallops. Perfect day to be out on the water.  Several more caught, but. Had to be thrown back (under sized) or threw the hook.

I feel that Captain Mike is passionate about his guiding and tried his best to put us on fish,  but we had a disappointing day of fishing as no fish were caught. Sometimes it happens I know. He felt bad and gave us some fillets from his freezer to take home anyway.

While it was windy and the fish weren’t biting much, it was an enjoyable day on the water with Captain Mike. He was entertaining and we had a great trip.

My step son and I went out with Capt Mike today.  It was very cold , for Florida, and rainy but we went anyway . We caught some huge trout and a bunch of different others. For a day that was pretty crappy Mike made a day to remember! Thanks my friend for giving my boy and I a great bday present!
