2 trips with Capt. Alan. We caught constantly but of most importance is that the Capt. knows the area exceptionally well. He kept us on the bite and moved appropriately to keep us on the best spots. Capt. Alan also taught us about each spot and how to fish it properly. We kayak fish when not on a charter and his teaching transferred effectively to our kayaking from targeting the fish to how to properly release them based on their species.
I will definitely book again!

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our family of 6 had a great day with Captain Chris! He took us to several spots to catch different varieties of fish. We caught quite a few trout including 6 that were big enough to keep, take back to our rental and grill for supper. We also caught some mangrove snappers, 2-3 snook, a grouper and 3 reef sharks! We saw dolphins and manatees. Not bad for a 4 hour trip!! Beautiful scenery. It was absolutely perfect.

Our trip with Captain Al was a perfect morning of fishing. He started us out in the mangroves for Snook and Reds, then after we were warmed up and the fish tired out we went out to the sound to find bigger fish willing to bite. We succeeded in catching about 30+ fish for the day which put a smile on everyone’s face.
Captain Al was professional, held a good conversation, and was willing to help out the Northerners improve our game. His equipment was top notch and well maintained.
Overall, Captain Al takes pride in his equipment and his ability to deliver a great experience for his customers. We will be booking with him again and would highly recommend a trip with him if you are in the area.

We had a great day fishing with Captain Alan!  It was our families first trip to Florida and picked Spangler Adventures for our trip.  His communication was excellent.  He called and touched base with us the day before just to make sure he understood what we were looking to do.  He took us to many spots looking for the fish and we ended the day catching a lot of fish including my daughter catching the big snook!  I was even able to catch a barracuda as well.  Neat experience and my two boys and daughter had an amazing time.  Captain Alan was amazing with the kids as well!  I would highly recommend Captain Alan if you are wanting to fish in the Cape Coral/Captiva area.  Will definitely use him again when we are down in Florida.

Our family of five had an excellent day on the water with Captain Alan! Started off with some near shore fishing and were catching fish right away - a great variety including a big gag grouper, red grouper, mangrove snapper, trigger fish, jack, grunt. Transitioned to inshore snook and had a killer day, landing around 30 snook, including some truly nice fish. Saw some dolphins up close which was a bonus. Ended the day catching some speckled sea trout in the flats. Overall, 50+ fish from 9 species. Was an awesome day, and Captain Alan did a wonderful job putting us on fish, keeping lines ready and baited, and working hard to make it a special day for our family. Couldn’t recommend Spangler Adventures more highly!!
