We went out of Captiva Island on a foggy and cool morning and Captain Alan suggested an inshore trip over backcountry snook\redfish.  We were into fish almost immediately. We caught over 9 species that day including Red and Gag Grouper, Mangrove, and Lane snapper…some over 14 inches, porkfish, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and grunts. Captain Alan was knowledgeable, friendly and took pride in his boat and equipment.  I would definitely recommend him next time you are in Sanibel and Captiva and want to catch fish and not just hear fish stories about “How good the fishing was last week”

This was a great trip!  It was windy so couldn’t go to all of the places he had hoped for but this didn’t stop Captain Alan from scouring the area for the best spots. Family of 5 with kids ages 10, 13 and 14 caught over 50 fish for 6 hours.  Spotted sea trout and lady fish were hitting.  He was great with the kids and I would not hesitate to recommend him.  Hoping to use his services in the future if life allows.

My wife and I and our 2 sons had a fantastic day on the water with Captain Jimmy! He was very enthusiastic and energetic our whole trip. He kept us on fish all day, in various locations. We caught our limit of Speckled Trout, several Mangrove Snapper, Snook (one of which was 34 inches), Jack Crevalle, Gag Grouper and a Cobia! We highly recommend Captain Jimmy. Thanks Captain!

We went out on New years eve. The wife wanted us to catch a meal and grandpa, myself and my boys wanted to catch some sharks. Capt. Mark took us straight to the 1st spot to catch some large Sheepshead and Snapper.We caught our new year’s eve meal at the 1st spot, plus a few pufferfish. We went to a 2nd spot for sheepshead and then off to the sharks. We caught 15 - 18 or so, black tipped and spotted. See pics. Everybody loved it and will never forget it. Thank you Capt. Mark! We had a great trip with Captain Alan.  He picked us up at the Bayside Marina at South Sea and got us on fish very quickly.  We had a big group of six, but everyone got a good share of the twenty plus fish we caught.  He was quick to move on to other great spots when the action stopped.  We even got a crack at his favorite spot for Grouper and were able to get a few along with some Jacks.  Highly recommend booking with Captain Alan and plan to book another trip with him when we return to Captiva.
