Captain Steven was awesome. He was promptly on time and had all the bait we needed. He was prepared for our long trip started out slow but ended with us catching a lot of fish. He definitely knows the waters in the Charleston area. I highly recommend Captain Steven at Sunshine charters. This is my second trip with him and I plan on plenty more.

Captain Steve took us on a half day morning trip across the harbor. Lots of great spots fished along the marsh grass. The newbie on the boat got the one beauty, an 18 inch 4lb speckled trout. What a fantastic trip. This is the boat you want if you have little impatient kids. The captain is a great guy and very very patient with children. He explains to the kids about fishing and how to bait the lines. Helped my kids catch a huge huge red fish. The thing was so big we had to throw it back! I can’t recommend this boat and captain enough. Clean boat, great fishing spots and super patient with kids. 5 stars all the way for this boat and we will be back again!

We had the best time on this fishing trip. Even though the fish weren’t biting and the ones we caught we had to throw back because they were small it was a great time. We loved the Captain, he kept checking on my 9 year old and he was a hoot. We are definitely booking again!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Capt, Stephen did a fantastic job getting fish fired up for us. It did rain for a few minutes on us but we prevailed and caught a 14pound redfish right after it stopped! Enjoyable fishing experience with a great boat ride to and from spots. 10/10 would recommend!
