Captain Darrel was great! Very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. We had 4 people on the boat fishing, which was perfect. More than 4 would have probably been too crowded. We caught 2 mahi mahi and 1 short-bill spearfish and got to keep plenty of meat. Highly recommend, would do it again.

Booked my trip on Fishing Booker!  Very easy to set up! The crew on the Sundowner were great.  Between the captain and mate, I was not disappointed!  Very professional crew.  Catching my first Blue Marlin didn’t hurt either. Highly recommend Maggie Joe Sportfishing and the crew on the Sundowner!

Had a great day with Daryl and Rob. Mostly trolling for marlin. We ended up only catching a Shortbill Spearfish which was awesome. Had another bite but missed it. We did get to watch a sailfish turn and chase a lure which was cool. Wish I had more time here because we’d go right back out tomorrow.

Daryl the captain (hope I’m not butchering the spelling) was awesome! I ended up getting sea sick for half the trip, which they responded well with the situation since I was solo, still ended up reeling in a massive shark and Wahoo. All in all even with the storm and rough seas we went through the experience was one of a kind! Would absolutely return and go with Maggie Joe again!

A great experience.  Kevin and Jason are first class individuals and fishermen.  I hooked into a Blue Marlin on my 50th Birthday and it was fantastic.  They were great, personable, knowledgeable, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.  Boat was clean, cabin had AC, and we were one of three boats to catch anything that day.  We took a 6-hour trip and enjoyed every minute.
