Miss Behavin is located in Sewaren Creek New Jersey (Woodbridge Township), 16 Miles North of PNC Bank Art Center, and less than 5 Miles from exit 130 on the Garden State Park Way. We operate our 26’ Grady White Center Console (Miss Behavin) for the spring and fall striped bass runs in the Raritan Bay. In Raritan Bay, during these seasons there are fish up to 50 pounds that are caught regularly. Come aboard and enjoy an exciting trip for some of New Jersey's renowned Striped Bass Fishing.

Lots of fish caught this month with our biggest being 48" by Patty Parent aboard during Fins For Freedom. We will be transitioning to Fluke, Blue Fish and Wreck fishing starting on June7th, however if you'd still like to fish for striped bass please let the captain know before your trip. We fished morning and afternoon finding that the mornings were much better. Boat traffic seemed to be affecting the fishing as the weather got nicer. The bait has been harder to find schooled together, but we are still managing to get live bait aboard each trip. The bass are here and hungry! I predict once water temps raise into the high 60s they will begin to push North.

The bass finally decided to show up and eat! Inconsistent weather over the Raritan Bay has kept us tied to the docks on the days we would normally sail, however safety is our number 1 priority for our customers and crew. During this week anglers boated several bass while casting and jigging artificial baits and lures. Looking forward to the upcoming week once the rain moves out. We will not be fishing the weekend of April 12th, but join us early on in the week to get in on the action. Open boat opportunities will be posted on our social media.

Greg and Elana booked a trip for just the two of them. Neither of them had much fishing experience prior to this trip. Greg told me before we left the dock that he wanted to take his girlfriend fishing from shore but had doubts about landing Elana her first fish. Needles to say Elana is now hooked on fishing! Both Greg and Elana caught their limit of striped bass in no time along with many others released to be caught another day. Greg and Elana had an experience of a life time and re booked another trip to target striped bass in October. Capt. Dan
