What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Jefferson City, Tennessee for the first time?

Be prepared to battle these fish! They are tough to pull in! They are fighters for sure! Hahaha. And when you’re done…. You much grab a meal at The Tomato Grill!! Our boat Captain suggested it and it was absolutely amazing!!!!

It's definitely hot. We went from 5-9 and it didn't cool down to a comfortable temperature until about 7pm. Bring hat, sunscreen, maybe a little fan, and some water. I would definitely go before noon or after 4.

Come prepared for bad weather even if it isn't in the forecast! We were supposed to have a nice partly sunny day but the weather was miserable. Cold, rainy, windy. If not for the great fishing we would have asked Captain Wilbur to take us back to the dock early.

Joe explained how the fish were biting first thing in the morning and then would just stop. It was like that for us, but he worked and got us all on a fish or two.

It was freezing?. I wouldn't fish in December again. The fish were not feeding well either.
