It was surprisingly hot the day we were out. In the 90s… Which felt amazing to be in the river, but the sun was wicked hot. We think the fish were a little slow to bite because of the heat, but things picked up towards the end of our outing

Capt. Hunter Hoek is a very knowledge guide and worked hard to find fish and he was successful. Hunter is very personable and made the trip special. I highly recommend you contact him for you charter on North Georgia Lakes.

Middle of the summer can be slow for fishing spring and fall tend to be the best times for the best bite

Worth every penny to have an experienced guide. The float trip was so much nicer than just a wade trip.

I would start with a guided outing to learn where the fish are and what the fish a biting. When you see it with your own eyes, it is different than reading about it on the internet.

Just be prepared to have the time of your life. The fishing is good and the scenery is amazing.
