What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Hurghada, Egypt for the first time?

Als Privatausflug mit Familie, zum Schnorcheln und ein paar kleine Fische zu fangen, ganz ok. Der Tag war entspannt und gut durchorganisiert, hatte aber nichts mit einem Angeltörn wie es beschrieben wird zu tun. Dazu kommen versteckte Kosten wie Abholung und Tourismuspauschale. Würde hier definitiv nicht wieder buchen.

The area is quite windy and the sea can get quite rough so book early in your visit to egypt so you have time to change the date of your fishing trip should the weather/sea conditions make fishing unsuitable for your selected date.

Dont listen to your hotel tour guides and book this trip! They tried to sell us a much more pricey trip and even told us at the beginning, that you cant go fishing in Hurghada.... Always check by yourself!!!!!

Look at the reviews and the pictures in the reviews. There you can see a lot of information. Also look for the targeted species. Slow pitch jigging is possible, but most charters did not offer these technique.

It was low season bit we did catch fish, we had some big bites but captain did say its much more fish in the high season. We enjoyed non the less.

It was very bad experience the guide has never fishing in is live we don't ketch any fish over 15 cm the boot don't have any fishing rods just the food was good

Wir waren im Januar Angeln. Man muss gut auf die Windbedingungen achten und einen guten Tag abpassen. Ansonsten gibt es deutlich mehr Fische im Roten Meer als im Mittelmeer.

Great fish in the area, but with July growing increasingly hot in the last years, fish activity is down during the heat period.

in my opinion, there are few predatory fish here, at least close to Hurghada itself. Perhabs further from the shore wouldbe better

Apparently may is out of season for bigger migrating species which is sep to December , however we still caught over 40 beautiful fish
