We only went out for part of one day, so tough to say. The best part was that you’re fishing (trolling) with a few miles of the marina/beach. We’re used to going 2-3 hrs out to hit the fishing grounds off of Cape Hatteras NC.

Be patient. It’s called fishing not catching. Make sure to enjoy the time with the crew and whoever went with you. I have fished several places but in La Romana you can get to the big fish in a hurry.

I don’t know what to tell you, but I did not have a good experience. I fished for an hour without a bite. The waves are horribly terrible. I’m not sure if starting at 9 AM as a wise choice.. if you’re sightseeing, that’s fine fishing no.

First time anglers, this is the perfect trip. There a cabin inside with a bathroom, bed, table, and couch if you need a break from the sun.

We were the first to book a trolling trip for the season. I thought we were taking a gamble, but it paid off!

Remember that it’s fishing not catching and there’s no guarantee that you will catch anything. Don’t hold that against the crew or leave bad reviews just because of that.

Drink dramamine before boarding to avoid sea sickness. None of the people on board got sick even though the majority were first timers.

Call Brito Yachts! The boats are beautiful, they know what they are doing. You WILL have a great day out on the water

We did not see any other fishing boats so March must not be an ideal time to fish
