Come in the spring and fall for best inshore action, based on our experience. Just ask questions, these guys will steer you in the right direction if you just want to catch something vs targeting specific species on specific types of bait, where your chances for success get tougher.

Fishing anywhere in March is a gamble. We watched the weather and knew a cold front was pushing through and temperatures would be cold. Temps started out in the 40s and warmed up to the 60s/low 70s. The week prior it was in the low 80s, so you just don’t know. Water temps were in the 60s, but fish were still biting with the cold temps. 3 star rating is only for the cold weather in March and has no bearing on the Charter company at all.

Fishing was great and if you’re looking for trophies you might need to check with the professional guides for weather, tide, water temperature, etc., etc., - turns out the fish don’t read the fishing literature!

Fishing for shark nearshore and with a first timer - go in June. Looking for sea trout or redfish- book the 6 hour trip.

It’s hot!!! Wear sunscreen or SPF shirt. Our captain helped us move to a more shady area which helped; however, depending on the fish you catch you might not be able to get in the shade.

Bring a hat, sunscreen and lunch. Drink plenty of fluids as it is hot with high humidity
