What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Pernera, Cyprus for the first time?

We’ve been fishing with Socrates for many years now and it is the best around. We have also been with others but none compared to Socrates. Our son (8yo) loves it, he always catches fish on this boat, Socrates has taught him how to bait etc and he was particularly excited with his red Mullet on this occasion.

Go with Socrates. He and his fellow deck hand are quality guys. You will catch fish. Don't expect the big elusive tuna unless your going out in August /September. Socrates knows how to nail em so go with his advise and knowledge on these fish rich waters. Neil Bannister-Smith .Staffordshire. UK

Go for the family type ride. Better to catch easily smaller fish than wait a alot for big fish.

Fishing in August you won't be catching massive fish. But plenty off beautiful small fish that you'll love

We would have liked to have caught a tuna, but we knew we was late in the season, however we was happy with any catch and we wasn’t disappointed.

Do a trip with knowledgeable and reputable Captain and Crew there is lots to learn even if you an experienced angler.

Maybe wait till warmer Seasons, but we still caught many big fish it was phenomenal

Try also to fish with small soft baits (with 20g jigs, depends on the weather conditions)
