What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Kingston, Oklahoma for the first time?

I would definitely recommend his service if fish were not biting in location we were at we moved very little time was wasted moved quickly from point to point. Caught our limit of fish had to though at least 15 back over the length limit. Great fishing gear, from boat to bait.

Look up Charles Lee, he knows the lake and how to read his electronic to put you on the fish.

I’d request the type tackle you want to use when we go again.. fish are picky.. I like live bait better that artificial.

Make sure to get a knowledgable guide. It's a huge lake. Look at bigfoot stripers, you can't go wrong.

Do it. Stayed at Aarowhead Point Lodge. Rooms were quite, clean and staff were extremely accommodating.

Recommend morning trips to beat the heat. Fish may be smaller than some other areas but that doesn't reduce the action and overall experience of the trip.

Identify where you will meet your boat ahead of booking a place to stay. We stayed on the south side of the lake and it was 52 miles to Kingston.

Remember, it's called fishing not catching for a reason.. Don't get so wrapped up in the numbers, some days the fish just don't wanna bite. Enjoy the journey!

Roger recommended our stay in Kingston at The Woods motel. Best place we have found. Very clean and well set up.

take a charter fishing trip and let the Captain show you how to catch fish they do it everyday and know what they are doing

If it's chilly outside - wear layers! & hold your pole in your hand so you can feel the bite vs. having it in a pole stand.

HIRE A GUIDE. WE WERE LUCKY. WE HAD AN OVERCAST MORNING WITH A NICE BREEZE. WE CAUGHT OUR LIMIT. DIFFERENT WEATHER PERHAPS NOT SO LUCKY.

It was pretty warm, and the striper were a little uncooperative, but we ended up doing pretty well.

The weather is far to hot in September. I would say med to late October is a much better time.

Same as we Sid regarding Charles Lee as he is best we have fished with in Kingston.
