Everyone is starting to go back to school so our trips are slowing down but the fishing is not! Spanish mackerel fishing continues to be hot nearshore.

The bottom fishing is on fire right now. Unfortunately gag grouper season is closed and they have limited scamp grouper to only one per person. That isnt stopping us from having a great time and filling the cooler with other tasty bottom fish! Vermillion snapper and triggerfish are on the menu as well.

Barracudas are not great table fare but they are a great fight! These guys caught barracudas until their arms fell off! The water will start cooling down soon and the fishing should only get better.

The action continues to be steady on our four hour nearshore trips. Weve been able to catch some nice spanish mackerel for dinner and even catching a few barracudas to tug on something big!

Heres a couple more photos from another inshore fishing trip. Theres still a few redfish hanging around with trout mixed in. Theres also plenty of flounder around that keep everyone busy.

This was another great trip that we had whenever we had a break in the weather. The bottom fishing in the 8-10 Hour range has been really good. This trip we also fished in 90-100ft of water and it was really good action. Lots of red snapper, gag grouper and vermillion snapper. Our bottom fishing will continue to be great the rest of the year.
