We hit Lake Austin this morning and found some solid action in the grass. Conditions were clear (4–6 ft visibility, 82° water, light breeze, mostly cloudy skies), and once we dialed in the right spots, the bass were waiting. A father-and-son-in-law duo put about 25 fish in the boat, with the biggest pushing 3 lbs. The bite came on drop shot finesse worms and Texas-rigged senkos — quick flurries of bass when we found sweet spots, with some lulls in between. A fun morning with steady bites and good company on the lake.

Good fishing right now. We are catching decent numbers of fish and so far we have been very fortunate to catch at least one bass over 5 lbs every trip for the past few weeks. Focus on main lake points with a drop-shot rig.
