Winter wahoo
February 24, 2022
Wahoo can save the day when its slow fishing and you get that one big bite and hear the drag screaming theres nothing like it. Wahoo are great hard fighting fish on light tackle and even better on a plate.

Double header sailfish!
February 18, 2022
We trolled a shallow reef for snapper amd lost one nice fish but no other bites so next stop was slow trolling some live bait for mackerel and sailfish. We put the baits out and within a few minutes both rods got hit within seconds of eachother and we had two sailfish jumping and making hard runs in opposite directions! We landed both fish for a quick picture before safely releasing them. After that we got a nice king mackerel for the cooler. Fishing can be slow in winter but when its good its usually a day you wont forget.

The usual suspects
February 9, 2022
Winter can be hit or miss sometimes on an offshore trip but if its slow I always give the option of finishing up a trip for the last hr inshore and sometimes your biggest fish of the day is caught right then! Tarpon, barracuda, jacks, and sometimes snook and snapper are all some of the fish we find inshore.

LIGHT TACKLE FUN
February 7, 2022
We skipped trolling today and went right to live bait fishing. Slow trolling some pilchards on the surface was the ticket on a slow day of fishing we had a few quality fish hit the deck before a safe release. We got a sailfish, a blackfin tuna, and a small shark all caught on 15lb light spinning rods. Fishing has been hit or miss but you cant catch them from the couch and you never know unless you go!

Snapper bite

Trolling has been slow the last two weeks or so but live bait fishing and bottom fishing for snapper has been the way to put fish in the cooler. We even got a true red snapper which is rare for Ft Lauderdale.

First sail of the year
January 7, 2022
Fishing has been slow but if your patient enough and work for them there are some quality fish around. We had bad luck with sailfish two days prior losing two of them and the day before we saw a few but no bites. Finally got a small one to the boat and took a quick pick before he swam away in a hurry.

Sick of the same old troll around waiting on a bite forever charter beat? Then you've come to the right place. Here we will focus on live bait fishing and using light tackle in most applications. Everyone can agree that catching a big fish on a...
