The tuna bite has been good and around the moons the wahoo have been biting as well. We missed a nice fish yesterday but made up for it today landing a decent wahoo early this morning.

The bite was slow but we managed to pick away at some blackfin tuna this morning and later on we put aive bait on the bottom and two on a flatline at the surface and a pair of mahi fiund them.

We set the spread out bright and early and hooked up on a small wahoo right off the bat which is always a great surprise early in a trip. After that we did not get another bite on the edge so we drove about ten miles offshore and got into a school of nice mahi on light tackle spinning setups. Great day out on the water and we were back to the dock by 11am with a cooler full of fish.

The reef bite was slow early in the morning so we took a long drive offshore and couldn't find any weeds but eventually found a nice weedline about 12 miles offshore that had mahi on it. Fresh mahi for dinner never disappoints.

Today we had a great bite on the reef early with plenty of bonita action and lost a sailfish on the troll after dropping the bait back a few times we finally hooked up but broke off quick. After that the first mahi was hooked trolling and it made its way to the cooler. We than stopped the boat and tried some live baits which they were eating quick and threw a few more in the cooler. Ended the trip with the biggest fish of the day on the troll a nice gaffer mahi for the ride back.

We lost a nice mahi on light tackle this morning but made up for it getting back to back wahoo on the troll. The smaller wahoo have been mixing in with mahi offshore and the larger fish have been closer to the reef. The afternoon trip today was a tough bite but we got one mahi to eat a live bait while chasing flying fish.
