This time of year we are looking for those larger fish like sailfish and wahoo and sometimes you have to work hard for them but it pays of when the drag is screaming!

The fishing has been slow but if your patient theres some nice ones out there kooking for a meal. We have got into king mackerel, tuna, bonita, sailfish, african pompano, and grouper this week. The bites are spread out but sometimes quality over quantity is good!

Mahi can be caught every month of the year in south Florida but December is usually the month we say goodbye as a regular catch out there. Once the water cools down enough they move closer to the equator. Some tuna have been showing up in the soread from time to time and the mackerel bite trolling and live bait fishing has been great most days.

This week there has been loads of ballyhoo on the reef and there are all kinds of fish in there filling up. Sailfish, mahi, king and cero mackerel, rainbow runner, and snapper are all being caught about one mile off the beach on live baits and light tackle spinning rods. Live bait fishing is much more active than trolling and alot of fun from a small boat.

Sailfish, mahi, tuna, and mackerel are all being caught within 2 miles of the shoreline right and they are feeding heavily on ballyhoo.

Both the trolling and live bait fishing has been a hit all week and the past two days were no exception. With sailfish, wahoo, tuna, mahi, and king mackerel all in the mix you cant miss right now. Lets go fishing!
