The beach fishing has been great the first week of January 2022! Some of our inshore favorites like snook, Redfish and Sheepshead are striking hard. The record warmth in December here in Sarasota has carried through into January. Gulf temps are 10 degrees above normal which has kept the snook bite especially active. Yael, returning client from 2 years ago hired Beach Fishing Adventures again and landed this beautiful snook. She did a midday trip on Black Friday 11/26/21 with her husband and son. Good times! Mid February through May is prime for Spotted Seatrout searching for food along Sarasota’s area beaches. They are quite easy to spot on clear water days making it an exciting target to sight fish!
