We’ve had a blast this past couple weeks making great memories and catching lots of fish! Lots of trout,over slot redfish,a few flounder,bunches of whiting,black drum, and a few sheephead.

We’ve been catching some really nice redfish, and the trout bite has been pretty good when we have stable water conditions.

The Best time of the year to go fishing!The fish are Hungry and our weather is usually fairly good! Winter time brings fantastic speckled trout and redfishing to the Georgia coast using artificial lures. As well as great black drum and sheephead fishing for folks looking get out do a little bottom fishing.

With the rising temperatures bring all the bait back with the predator fish close on there heels. We’ve been catching lots trout. The flounder bite is improving daily. The sheepshead and black drum have been starting to show up from offshore spawning. The whiting bite has been pretty solid. Tripletail have been hit or miss.

Spring has arrived and so has some quality fish. With the warming of our estuaries has started seeing our 1st wave of flounder coming inshore. This time of year we see our biggest speckled trout move in to fatten up before the spawn. Our redfish schools are starting to break up on the flats and creeks. Sheephead and black drum are biting great on the nearshore reefs and around structures inshore. The whiting bite is wide open. Sharks are starting to show as well. The weather is getting hot and so is the water, which can make the bite temperamental from day to day. The sunrise bite has been really good most days with it slowing down as it get hotter. The afternoon bite has been slower due to the heat of summer. We’ve caught some really nice fish during this first week of July except 1 afternoon trip where it was super slow.
