Fish move around our bay system so frequently I often venture out and try some of my Other spots when not on chartered trips. With the tide so low, my bay boat has its limitations but i was determined to walk up on some tailing reds in the skinny water. So off I went with my waterloo and Saltwater assanan morning glory shad with a 1/8oz jig head. Sight casting tailing reds is awesome, however not easy, throwing into the wind in clear water the fish were skiddish. All in all great day, oh and the Trout are moving in already!

Sunday 3/20 Full moon, north wind, crazy tides. The hot streek came to an end. The bight was tough, we used pin perch, sea lice and dead shrimp. Starting off south and making our way north we moved to 8 different spots I could think of to fish with the north wind and some strictures. Fished grass lines, shell, and sand bottoms. Only one bite on the day. Its a part of fishing sometinmes we smoke em and sometimes we dont. I hope my customers still enjoyed the day on the water and time with each other.

Made a stop at a drum hole got a few big uglies, then on to the reds. They still like dead shrimp but showed lots of interest in the sea lice.

Started off cool in the morning but sun came out in the afternoon to make it a great day of fishing.

Spring is among us! For the first time in a long while sun was out and we had shorts on! Fishing was steady. Tides have come up and the winds started cranking. All fish were caught with dead shrimp, but pin perch are coming in and maybe it’s time to change it up.
