These last-minute calls are the most exciting for our crew! We are always ready for action, and no matter how late the notice, we head out with 100% positive energy. Today we welcomed a great group of guys all the way from Montana (USA) for a Half day bottom fishing trip. Conditions weren't easy at all. High winds and choppy waves challenged us from the start, and we had to scout multiple waypoints to escape a heavy red tide (which turns the water dirty and smelly, pushing the fish away). But persistence pays off! Right before mid-morning, just as the tide was turning against us, we finally locked into the right spot and got our lines straight to the bottom. The reward? A beautiful mixed bag of delicious table fish: 3 Red Snappers (Pargones) 2 Rockfish (Pochotes) 2 Whitefish Ocean (Conejos)

What a day today! Sometimes life gives us coincidences of those that seem written in a script. That the surname of this incredible family of fishermen coincides with the name of our boat is already something special, but that the celebrated and the administrator were wearing long tablecloths on the same day... believe one in coincidences! Of course, mother nature decided to put the entire fleet to the test. By noon, the vast majority of navigators were already back moored in port. With an impetuous wind that did not let us maintain the position and a challenging swell, the fishing was fought second by second. Based on effort and persistence we managed to collect two rabbitfish (Whitefish) and a pochote (Rockfish). Despite the fact that the sea did not give us what we had in mind to assure, it left us excellent prey for the table and, above all, a story full of character and family celebration. We hope to see you again soon aboard the Mathis to have the perfect excuse to return to the sea for revenge. Book your next adventure and live the experience at sea.

¡Despedida de lujo con sabor a Mahi-Mahi y adrenalina de Sailfish! Cerramos tres días inolvidables junto a nuestros ambiciosos amigos argentinos, quienes no dieron el brazo a torcer ni un solo segundo buscando la acción de los grandes picos del Pacífico. La jornada arrancó con todo: el primero en responder fue un Mahi-Mahi (Dorado) de excelente porte para abrir el marcador. Poco después, el mar se encendió cuando tres Pez Vela (Sailfish) se le acercaron a los señuelos; uno de ellos comió franco y nos regaló una pelea de las que hacen cantar el carrete y sacar línea a lo loco. Aunque logró soltarse justo al arrimarse al bote y salirse con la suya (¡cosas que solo pasan en la pesca de altura!), la emoción a bordo fue absoluta. Para cerrar con broche de oro, la constancia pagó: logramos enganchar dos Mahi-Mahi más, garantizando que la receta y el menú de la cena de despedida fueran de primerísimo nivel. ¡Un verdadero honor haber compartido estos días con este grupazo! It is always a real pleasure to receive customers of the house. Today we accompany a great Texas friend who trusted us again this year for a half-day. We started looking for action with the trolling, but seeing that the surface was slow, our captain did not think twice: he adjusted the strategy and we went straight to test on a stone that we had marked in the GPS. And bottom fishing paid for the play! Report of captures of the day: * 4 Goats * 2 Rabbits Fish * 1 Big Snapper * 1 Pochote (Margarita) The moment of maximum adrenaline: While we were fighting one of the goats, a large marine predator attacked it with half water and swallowed it in one bite. More than 30 minutes of intense elbow-to-side battle on the deck followed; we managed to raise him to the surface and see his huge silhouette before he managed to burst the line at the last moment.
