Going into it, we knew we would likely not be hooking up to a lot of fish because we were exclusively going for sailfish or marlin. Hooked onto one awesome sailfish!

The marina was really nice and easy to get to using Waze. There was a secure parking garage and the shops were nice and the dock area very well maintained. Parts were newly constructed We were impressed!

Roosterfishing as a whole is not what I expected. It is slow trolling live bait that mostly only the roosterfish eats so there is not much else to catch. If the Rooster's do not bite you are not doing much. I enjoyed the experience and got to mark off a bucket list fish!

Don't think you know more than the captain. Listen to there advice, go where they recommend and fish for what they recommend. Bait fish, why spend time catching bait fish? Because the fish you are fishing for like live fish and the little time you spend doing that usually pays off!
