Saturday report: No tide, no problem. Had a great crew fishing the Valero Meraux St. Jude fishing rodeo with Victor Spencor and his client David Winn. Had to be patient, but put together a nice box of trout, drum, reds and sheepshead. Campo’s Marina live shrimp with High Water Lures corks were the magic ticket. Thanks to Capt. Nick Larpe for the referral trip.

Sunday Oct 14th fishing report: Redfish, Redfish and more redfish.. The redfish are thick as fleas right now. We left Campo's Marina with some **hidden content** shrimp in tow soaked in G Juice. If you have never tried G Juice you need to try it, it really wakes your shrimp up. Hit a back bay chasing birds for trout, found a few till the bite quit and then went to the near pocket and proceeded to blow the reds up. Cast after cast redfish were just flying into the boat. We ended the day with 17 reds 15 trout 5 sheepshead, 2 bass and 1 drum. It was a fantastic trip with Carl Freeman and his group. The High Water Fishing Lure Corks with Campo's Live Shrimp tipped with The Crappie Physic Pink Flamingo trailer was the trick.

Saturday Oct 13th fishing report: I got the opportunity to host Carl Hope and his buddy Lester for the annual Christian Motorcycle Association "Run for the Son" fishing event. We left out of Campo's Marina with some lively shrimp waiting to be inhaled by some waiting trout and redfish. We had our trusty High Water Fishing Corks rigged and ready tipped with the Pink Flamingo trout trailers. We got into a short trout bite, but by 7:30 am that was all she wrote on the trout bite in that area. We then headed to the shoreline looking for reds and it was on for the rest of the trip. We ended the day with 15 reds 12 trout 2 bass and a strange bream to boot. It was a fun time spending with Carl and his friend, I am glad we had the chance to support a worthy cause like Run for the Son and CMA.

Friday Oct 12th fishing report: As earlier stated it was Redfish mania, we headed out bright and early with some eager Campo's Marina Live Shrimp in search of reds and trout. Friday was a windy one to say the least in the morning, nice 15-20 mph breeze out of the North, but it didn't matter. From the first cast to the last cast it was non stop action. We did have to weed through a lot of 14" reds that actually fought extremely hard, but still managed 5 man limit of reds 12 trout some bass and some sheepshead to boot. The hot ticket as usual was the High Water Fishing Corks with either Campo's Marina Live Shrimp or Vudu Split tail tipped with the Pink Flamingo Crappie Physic trailer.

Ran a two day trip with a great fellow Captain's Capt. Calvin Duvalle and Capt. Clinton DeArmas. The redfish action was out of this world. This was a bachelor party group that was ready for some rod bending action. The hot ticket for the day was a combination of High Water Fishing Lures corks, Campo's Marina Live Shrimp, Egret's Vudu Chartreuse Flash and most important item was all was tipped with the Crappie Physic pink trailer. The trailers turned short strikes into hard hits. We also had a nice mess of beautiful white trout and some really pretty specs. With the coming fronts the fishing is only going to get better and better. Book your trip now while dates are still availbale. I want to say a big thanks to Capt Calvin Duvalle of Duvalle Cajun Charters for allowing Clinton and I to help him out with this trip. It was a great pleasure to work with two great captains.

Saturday Sept. 22nd Fishing Report: Had the great pleasure to help run a trip for Danica Bailey Williams and the Wish to Fish Foundation. This was all part of the Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Family Fun Fest in Hopedale, La. I had Raquel Castaneda and Stacey on board for the trip. All though we didn't get to fish much due to the weather we were able to get on some close action redfish and trout. Stacey ended up weighing in a 7.78# redfish... Awesome. It was a short trip but one I will not soon forget, we had plenty of laughs all morning long. I can't wait to help out Danica and their fine organization again. Again as stated on Friday's report the hot ticket was the popping action sound of the High Water Fishing Lure Corks, Campo's Live Shrimp tipped with the red Crappie Physic Trailer.
