Friday Sept 21st report: Had the opportunity to run a trip with a great fellow charter captain, Capt. Calvin Duvalle. We had bachelor party group that were hungry for some trout and redfish action. The fish did not disappoint, we headed out deep into the Biloxi Marsh to get on some hot trout and redfish action. The hot ticket today was the High Water Lures Cork with either Campo's Marina Live Shrimp or Vudu Tiger Shrimp. The difference maker in the bite was adding the red Crappie Physic trailer, the bite was actually harder with the trailer on. Great thanks to Duvalle Cajun Charters for letting me help out.

Had a fanstatic trip the other day with Charles and Phillip Coates from Panama. They contacted me and wanted to go catch and release bull reds, they are avid fisherman from that area catching Peacock Bass and have never tangled with the mgihty SE Louisiana Bull Red. From the first cast it was on with a beautiful 29" red, and the action didn't stop there. We spent the day chasing bulls early and then catching and releasing slot reds between 19"-24". The fishing action is as hot as the weather, both the trout and reds have been on a feeding frenzy. The fall transition should start taking place and the fish should start moving in closer. Friday had a great group of guys out for some non stop redfish action. Started the morning out searching for some trout, but only could find small ones. We changed our tactics and went after the redfish. Hit the spots and it was non stop action with reds, sheepshead and drum. Ended the day with a limit of reds, some trout, bass, sheepshead and even a large perch to boot. Come book your trip today while dates are still available

Had a great trip with Wanda Stewart and Joe France, went out to a horrible tide range on Thursday but still managed to get into a decent trout bite. We also got hooked up into a nice round of BIG Bull Reds that came to visit. Average size was 38", we tagged and released them to bite another day. It was a tough day fishing this past Thursday, woke up to 20-25 mph winds out of the NE with extremely low water conditions. Still my crew wanted to go out and search for the bulls. Took a little while to find some clean water, but once we did it was on. Tagged and released some bulls and kept some for the grill. Once the winds went down some more went looking for some more reds and bass. Not the greatest of days but still managed to send my crew home happy and satisfied with some grillers and some fish for the oil bath..
