We caught enough fish to feed a family of four and amazing meal at the The Poop Deck near the marina.

Don't expect bill fish as they are scarce in these waters even in prime months.

Yes. It does get hot so drink lots of water, take breaks inside and go on top and let the wind hit you so it feels like air conditioning. Great experience.

I fish a lot and the one thing I would recommend is to bring some ice to ice down your catch and keep it fresh. Its not so bad to not have ice on a 4 hour charter but I would definitely recommend bringing ice for the fish if you do a whole day charter.

It is a great experience there are many species of fish very different from those you catch in the US

Many of the charters are overpriced. $6-700 is fair for half day. $800 and up is ludicrous. If people stop overpaying the prices will moderate.

The only problem is we visited in early June which was sort of the rainy period in the Bahamas. I highly recommend the fishing there but I would go outside of May/June.

Well I’m not an experienced fisherman, but if you want a fun time for teens somewhat experienced for fishing this is the charter. Really helped and taught them.

Anything.. Trolling was slow then we started bottom fishing and it was on fire it was on fish after another.

The water gets deep closer to shore than you think. It is a short trip to deep water, a 4 hour trip is efficient. Reel that fish in quick, sharks will snag your fish before you know it.

Go a full day if you go deep sea fishing 1 hr out 1 hr back half day won’t cut it!!

Just remember even though it can be a peak fishing month that it is still fishing not catching so respect the guides!

A bit windy on our day, shallow fishing was best. No shark catchings, but great fun for the family.

Spend a little extra and go for a bigger boat. We had a 55 foot boat for 6 of us and I'm glad we went bigger instead of less expensive

Yes. The ease to get to fishing waters is unlike anything I have experienced.

Try the deep sea fishing for half the trip and if not catching anything try the bottom fishing. You need to have patience and relax and enjoy the experience. When you do catch something it is great.
