Get the most knowledgeable crew. We saw many fishermen, then sat on the dock, nobody brought in anything like we did. Thanks to the crew on the Blue Tail.

Definitely book a morning trip and the longer the better to increase your odds of a catch. This was our second time fishing here in Cabo, the first time we didn't catch anything.

My advice is to book an 8hr trip. More time on the water allows you to travel to less fished waters. Bring cash and tip well, they will work their ass off to put you on fish!

Black Marlin Sportfishing
We had shots at 3 Marlin and 1 Mahi. We landed the Mahi and broke off the Blue Marlin estimated at #250 after an hour when we was right next to the boat. Other boats seemed to have done just was well or better than we did.

Bait (2live and about 10 frozen) and 10 blocks of ice were $180. The crew preferred to be tipped in USD and is expecting 20%. Tons of Dolphins, a couple Whales, Sea Lions were seen on the trip.

realize that the crew can not make the fish bite. we have been out before and the crews were great and once we caught lots of Dorado and another the catch was very small

Shop around for fishing licenses or double check in advance if you can purchase them the morning of your trip. We got ripped off and paid over double because the system to purchase them was down in most places issuing licenses
